Just wondering if anyone has a factory service manual for a dana 300 transfer case. Or maybe a link to one. The low gear and output shaft installs don't look bad but it would be nice to have all the factory specs on the backlash and preload.

Yeah, I know. But its pretty much just for the backlash and preload specs.

Those Dana 300s are full mesh gears right? No chains or anything. Hmm no wonder you might need the specs. Good luck, if I come across anythign I will let you know. I have seen many Dana 300 build ups so mayeb you can find some on google and Pirate.

No chains in this case. Gear driven tc. My eyes hurt from searching. :shock:

Call the dana / spicer help line they could give you the specs over the phone.
