man i wish my classes were like that, i could graduate in a year instead of 5
thats kinda depressing when i think about it, i've got about another 4 yrs left to go in order to get my architecture degree and i've already decided that as soon as i graduate im going right back to school to get my engineering degree
hopefully i can work them both in so that in the end it'll only take me like 6 years to get my degree in each.
we'll see, im going to sit down with this woman eli and have a discussion with her. She's the assitant dean and the guys i work with at the arch firm all talked to her so we'll see how she guides me.

what all this means, is ill be making lots o many so that means i can have a cherokee on like 49's someday hahahah 49's could you imagine that

Hes in a 5 year program. He gets his lisence after hours of "intern" work and other misc requirements. You dont just get your lisence after school. You have to prove your self basically. So hes a few years from getting it. Even though hes been working for an Arc for 2 years. But those hours dont count :(. Oh well he will be ver sucsessful, I think I am going to be his IT when he gets a firm or what ever they are called. Well Matt, good luck with your schooling, its not as easy as it may look and how its goign now. My brother spends countless hours in studio making his projects. Hes very good at it, just very time consumming. More then half drop out in the first year :).

actually the time that he has been working for an architecht office does count towards his hours of internship. Just not all of them, Both guys in the office i work at knocked i believe it was 2 years off there internship in order to get there license quicker. The one guy john just graduated from njit, he has i think another year before he can start taking his test. The other guy brian graduated a few years back and already has his license.

Its a very tough field and its a very demanding field. Its one of those fields that you either make it or you don't make it. It's either your designing big houses and big commercial buildings or your that crappy arch doing little deck additions for people scrapping by.

Also in the past couple years the requirement for becoming and architecht is becoming harder and harder. Speaking with the people down at NJIT their program fills up beyond capacity every year so they are changing their requirments in order to get it. Its a very surprising field that you didn't expect to see expand as much as it has.

ps good luck to your brother, give him my best wishes and tell him good luck on his test. I've heard the test SUCKS massively.

Alaska is as big 1/3 of the lower 48 states and has a population 500,000. Just for measure, Long Island has a population of 2.8 million.
