I'm always looking for someone and somewhere to ride. I too am generally off on weekends. I just found a short trail over my way this evening. a few miles at least, but I need to check the legalities of it.
You're probably familar with the jeep jamboree that they conduct out of Monticello in September. Unfortunately its $250 a person. However, I came across a few of their markers tonight when biking. If we could find out who operates the jamboree in this area, we might be able to find out about trail use.
regardless, I'd be up for some wheelin' any time!

you need to hit the quote or post reply buttons to get your reply in the same thread that you started
as for the jamboree, i know it's coming up and i've thought about going but the price tag is too high for me. I can make the trip to pap for about half that. keep an eye out though because OK4WD just had their own jamb back in may using the same trails and they were asking only 150. much better price tag for me. not sure if they do it more than once a year but even if they don't it's still worth waiting for. i know that most if not all of the trails are closed except for these ride though. never hurt to ask however. if tri-state ever gets to club status we might be able to work something out the same as the other two groups.
if you want to meet up, i might be able to go out sunday or next weekend. not sure about sunday, was suppose dto help a friend, but he said earlier in the week that we might be able to do it this weekend, will know more tomorrow. let me know. the places i know aren't really challanging (street tires and standard 4hi will do fine pretty much everywhere), but the scenery is nice and it'll give you an idea of what to expect come winter.

Sunday I have to go into work for a few hours. I need the extra cash no thanks to gas prices, but we should definitely hook up in the coming weeks.
