hey im looking into buying a 98 s10, im planning a 2 in lift, and 35's all sorts of top secret goodies.. but are there any companies out there that make a good oslid front axel swap kit? also planing a 2 inch body lift. thanks guys/girls.

save your $$ and buy ANYTHING else except for an S-10. If you have to have an S-10 a Solid axle is the only way to go- unless of course you like spending money?

so should i go with the solid axel swap, or keep the ifs till it busts, if so where can i pick a kit up?

I dont think there is a kit. Do a google search and you should come up with a bunch of sites with info on the swap. It's been done a million times.

My suggestion would be to wheel it while you are collecting parts for the swap. that way you are familiar with what else needs to be upgraded and also you see the benefits of a solid axle while wheeling with people who have them.

Solid Axle unless you have unlimeted acces to steering and suspenion parts like ball joints and wheel bearings.
