the dell lcd's are nice, i have a 17" at work and a 19" high res at home and i love them, but how much is it? check out www.newegg.com and look at the 17" lcd they have a few for under 200 bucks which is cheaper then a 15"
You can get a Dell 19" for like $300 something, I was told this... I didnt beleive it, but you never know with Dell. My buddy has the 20" and its AMAZING :D. Hope this helps!

I think you should order one of these http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/images/products/large/A0391398.jpg lol 32 inches lol
but yea you have to watch dell sometimes the run unbeatable deals, the 19" is going for 303.20 right now and the 15" isnt worth it in my opp at 237.15 you can get at least a 17" for that price

Flat screens have slow re-fresh rate. If ur gona do any gaming...crts are better, I have a flat Screen (flat glass but crt size) that i am very satisfied with. It gives me a much better refresh rate while playing games then when i tried using my sisters dell 21' lcd.
Jeremy is not goign to be gamming... If hes doing anythign its video editing. And LCDs are great for it, plus its better on the eyes.

i dont know what lcd flat screen she has but i run my 19" lcd at 75hz which is much better then what most of the crt's i have seen run, most of them run a max of 70 id bet her dell will go up much higher if the video card is good, xp usually picks 65 by default you have to change it higher. my dell will run at 80 but i like to run it at 75 and i have no problem running games on my pc
LCDs are slower. But they are getting there. If you dont hardcore game you wont see a difference at all. I never see a difference. I just think it looks perdy :D
