I have looked into a few users on the board. They might be using our site to advertise there medcantion products. I would say dont resond to anything they might send you. I have deleted there profile information because it was not related to the website and its purposes. If I see another user with this information I will delete all the accounts.

Does anyone know how to stop this garbage? I mean I have there email address banned. But there IP is not logged. Damn PHPBB I want my vBulletin... maybe I will work a few hours on it today...
If this keeps happening. I think I am going to have to have so I have verify your information and I have to ativate your account. Pain in the butt but it will keep our board clean.

Instead of just letting anyone register make-up a form for people to fill out to request membership. then you can review it and email them their requested username and password.

you should download and and install the security package for phpbb i makes it so when signing up you need to enter a security question and letter/number code inorder to make a user. and you can also set it so they can sign up but not use the board until an admin makes them active

This is not a club. We do not have memberships. But we have offical members, those members are required to donate to Tri-State 4x4.

You will be required to pass security graphic thing. Then an email activation is required for that person to show up on members list.

I already updated it, and it didnt show up for some reason. I dont really care right now. I am working on the goods.

Because they have the ability to contact the real members of this forum and by using the forum, members might think its actually an important message. To avoid unwanted mail, viruses, etc. we should know who these members are to avoid them.
Thank you Tom, and Matt, we have 500GBs of bandwidth. With my two sites, in a month we use no more then 5GBs :)
