most other boards have some type of corny message icon you can use when you start a new thread. to me, that is normally useless. however, i was thinking with this board, especially in the "outings" forum, the message icon could be a way of designating what type of trails your group will be running.
for example, if i see a thread titled something like "paragon this weekend" and the message icon indicates that the person who posted it would like to run green and blue trails, then readers who are interested in running blacks and reds would not need to even click on that post. vice-a-versa would obviously be true too. a person posting that uses a black trails message icon would save many other people from unnecessary clicks and time wasting.
get it? simple enough i think
