1978 CJ-7 Renegade package up for grabs. Great for a project or for parts. Kept indoors right now. Here's the story...
- 304 AMC V8, runs great, but has no distributor right now. I helped a buddy out in a pinch and havent replaced it yet.
- 3spd, shifts great
- T-case works great
- Rears are fine
- Good hard top/doors
- 31" ATs on chrome wagons
- good tailgate
- Body is pretty poor but not bad considering what it COULD be
- Good frame
- Needs body mounts, the originals are rotting
- Needs battery
- Lots of new engine parts
- Complete int.
- Title has been lost by previous owner
Its got to be worth over $2000 in parts alone, I just dont have the time or patience to part it out. Ill take $1500 or best reasonable offer.

Titles are a piece of cake to get nowadays and the 304 runs great as described, but doesnt have a distributor right now. I admit, hearing it run would be a much better selling point, and Im getting to the point Im just gonna replace it so atleast I can move it around.
This is more of a Project/Parts truck. For someone who wants a strong 304, this is the truck. To get a good hartop or set of hard doors and bigger set of tires on nicer rims, great oppurtunity. Just someone who already has a CJ-7 that may want to have spare EVERYTHING, axles, trans, engine parts etc, this is the truck. Someone could MAKE money on this by just having the patience to part it out. I dont have the time.
Im actually sorry I didnt pick up the plow I saw for a couple of hundred bucks a few months back. This little work horse would have paid for its rent after this past weekend.
If you are really interested, let me know what you need pictures of, and Ill do my best to get them for you. Hell Ill even deliver it a reasonable distance if nessessary! Thanks for your interest

Yeah, Ive been talking to the last guy who had it seeing if he has any old registrations laying around. I can get a dup from NJ MVC for $25 bucks with an old registration or ins card. If not I can get a salvage online for less then $100 bucks. Thanks
