YJ Lift and everything for it HELP!?!!

Ok well I have been told many different things. Now I ask you all.

I am looking for a 2"-3.5" lift. Anymore would be too much.

I want to know what lift and anything else I need. The kit in the end needs to have the lift..., brake line extenders, quick discos, and everything I need to do the install and have it up and running correctly. It needs to be safe... and it needs to be strong. I am also going to get a SYE kit no matter the lift. Just for getting rid of vibes and worries. Price is not much of and issue. I have time to save up.

i have BDS on my YJ and its been great so far. flexes great off-road and ya can't beat the lifetime warrenty!! cheap to...i got the whole 2.5" kit for 499 and a local shop w/shocks.

Where did you get this kit? Since we are in the kinda same area... let me know and exactly what you have installed. I am thinking of getting MORE Boomerang shackles the 5/8 ones.

Never mind, I called OK4WD and they gave me quotes on everything I needed! :) Wahoo I am happy now I dont have to pay for shipping...

youre probably gonna say no, but if u know someone who can weld (like me :lol: ) id say get the spring-over conversion from RE, it nets 5.5" lift and it costs less that 300, and it uses stock springs so the ride quality isnt changed drastically.

I'll add another vote for BDS. Had mine in since may and have been loving it. rides nice, flexes nice and great warranty. the 2" kit doesn't automatically come with disco's though so be sure to add them in as well.

what do ya need discos for :wink: ??? i drive mine disconnected all the time, it takes some gettin used to but its not that much of a difference.

btw....i got a BRAND NEW set of JKS discos for 2.5-6" of lift that i might be able to sell. i still haven't decided if i'm gonna put em on or not but if you'd be interested let me know. like is said, they're brand new, i never got a chance to install em and now its disconnected most of the time.

yeah, same here. but since he's worried about being totally safe he really should have disco's. I'd still recommend ditching the track bars though. unless the jeep's handling changes drastically with the front bar removed I say get rid of them. rear bar should already be gone :D

Let me know about the discos. I would probally hold off on the Tera's because I might not need them until I do some wheeling alot. I need to save some money anyway... But I still want to do the SYE and such. Let me know on a price!
