who on here thinks that maybe we should make a banner section for the vendors on this site to raise money so justin can get the site upgraded.
The reason i bring this up is because we are having more and more people sign up to this site and the site is getting slower and slower. Some nights i swear i think that i was using a 56k modem again its that bad.
Just wanted to see what people thought and see if we could pursuade justin.

I will be glad to get the first banner. I swear sometimes I still have my 33.6 modem. I would be glad to support a great group like Tri-State. Although I have been unable to attend an event Everyone seems to be a good group of guys to go wheeling with. I can't wait My next project is in the shop right now.

See the issue is the server so some reason is way over its usage. Its using like 20% CPU and thats bad. It should be only using 5% or less. But I am in the process or upgrading the site to vBulletin anyway. I have a vBulletin Lisence from one of my other sites and I am shutting that site down soon. I was also thinking of getting another site host. But if I do get another site host I will not be able to post the videos on the site. Due to there large size and how much bandwidth it will pull. Most site hosts go by bandwidth and size of your site. So it would be very expensive. I am have been complaining about the site to the people I pay and they dont seem to be getting anywhere. So thats why my other site will be getting shut down to make this site be the only site on the server so it will be fast. I know its slow and I get really angry when its slow because when ever I need to do somethign the site does not work and then I forget.

yeah we definitely have to do something though justin. The site is growing by leaps and bounds (which is good) but the forum just can't handle the bandwidth that we attract each day.
deffs time for an upgrade

The issue is not the site. Its the server thats being retarted, I have the people working on it but it does not seem to be getting anywhere. When the server is running correctly the site is very fast and its great. So I dont know I have eben working on it :)

here is the company i use http://atlaspronet.com/linux.htm but they changed the hosting program, they dont give you unlimited disk space anymore, but still unlimited bandwith for 120 bucks for the year. you could also offer people email'@tri-state4x4.com as well

I also noticed that quadratic has a referral program. If people click on ur link to buy stuff you get a %. Don't know if ur interested but it could help cover expenses

If you find the person with dial up and a 386 pentium with 32mb of rams I think you know who it was. but He probably won't be able to see what we wrote for at least an hour or two. LOL
