Some of you know that I bent my drag link and tie rod last trip. Gene had to winch it out for me so I could atleast get home. I called Joe (ROCKREADYXJ) and he hooked me up with RockKrawler HD steering. First off, Joe had the thing shipped to me so I would have it for this weekend and he didn't even have my $$$ yet. Big thanks to him!!!!! And not only that, he told me that this was the last steering setup that RK had before they went on backorder and he made sure that it had my name on it. Another big thanks to him!!!!!!

OK, so on with the install. This is a very beefy setup. the stock tie rod looks like a toothpick compared to it. I think the tie rod is 1.5" and the drag link is 1.25". It only took about 2 hours to install including the allignment. It is very simple. The only pain in the ass is that is uses heim joints instead of tie rod ends so adjusting the toe in means you need to take one side off of the knuckle, adjust it, put back on the knucle and then take your measurements again. I don't think I am going to bend this one.

Here are some pics.

I have just be driving around here it and it feels really good. Although, I do need to get a steering stabilizer because I can feel every bump, rock, pothole, pebble and crack in the road.

that thing is definitely massive without a doubt.
get a steering stabilizer on there asap!!

i've been thinking of picking up the long arm kit from joe for a little while now, i think im definitely going to do it, just a matter of time and when. So many things i need to do to the jeep and i wanna buy a vette too everything is too expensive.

But the steering components are looking nice without a doubt!!

hahah nahhh thats what i got the jeep for. See i got screwed i've been affected by both the need for speed and the need to crawl. I first fell in love with the need for speed and i have had my fast car and my fast truck now i've fallen in love with going off road so i just have to spend so much money to keep my habits it stinks lol lol

you should have bought my YJ when I was thinking of selling it. You could wheel with it than break into the triple digits on the speedo on the ride home.

both the need for speed and the need to crawl.

that's what the atlas case is for. 5 to 1 off road and highway speed all in one package.

I think the F350 stabilizer kits I have are the ones I used on that before. I will have to measure a tierod.

Thanks Joe, Let me know. I have heard that a stabilizer for a super duty will work.
