258 from a 1980 CJ5.

unknown condition. I dont even know if it runs. It spins over and has been covered but the previous owner was told it ran but he never had it running because he didnt have a good starter for it.

I havent had a chance to get it to run but decided im not going to use it anyway so its got to go. still sitting on the CJ5 frame. it is complete from carb to oil pan!

i have no clue....it wasnt running when i got it...but its free spinning. i havent touched it... still sitting in the frame in my garage

ive been thinking i think i want this engine, a nice stroker project is in my future, my truck is dying uphills on the way to paragon. I donno how far you are from me, ill have to check it out, and set up some time to meet you.

the previous owner i got the jeep from said the guy he got it from said it ran....so its third party info...take it howver you will...

i personally have no idea if it runs...i was going to try but i dont have a starter to try it...if you got a starter and a wiring diagram for a 1980 jeep i will more then gladly give it a shot....i would be kind of interested myself...
