 so im driving with my gf today in the truck and we are doing exactly the speed limit for over 10 miles. all of a sudden i see this green civic come out of no where. He starts playing games with me riding up my ass, so i figure i will play back so i slammed on my breaks and he almost took a mouth full of steel. so he backs off and i continue doing the speed limit and enjoying my music and my gf when he starts swerving from the left side of the lane to the right side. When i see this i continue just doing my own thing, when i get to different stop signs i take my time and come to a complete stop. finally when we get to this streight away he decides he is going to pass me over a double yellow line. at this point some of you are like "what did you do next," well stop talking to yourself and let me finish. I realize that he is in a 4 banger and i have an I6 so i play the game with him. i let him pull up next to me and then i gun it. the pittiful fool has to wait for me to slow down for him even to catch up to me. so then he finally passes me and it is my turn. i turned all my offroading lights on and continued driving and let him warm up to all 5 of my lights.
Point of the story: none just thought it would be amuzing.
Lesson learned: Never Fuck with a jeep

i love driving slow to anoy fast drivers...people beep swerve and everything when i only go 60 or 65 on the pike. there 3 other lanes and they have to tail gate me in the right lol
I drive slow because there is no reason to be in a rush and my Jeep cant really go too fast. At like 75-80 it starts to get scary in mine... haha
Anyway those people are jerks and they are the people who cause accidents. And when alchol is combined its really bad. Just be safe thats all I ask :)

mine starts with the vibs at like 60...i think i fixed it by rebalanceing my tires..replacing my dented oil pan...changing my diffs, tranny, transferase fluids,...changing my rear brakes etc. I haven't gotten to road test it again; but old jeeps are just not designed to go that fast. I got a speeding ticket going 40 in a 30...but the guy tailgating and passing on the double yellow going 100 in the 65 gets nothing. We live in a screwed up world lol

wait im sorry brain fart...i got one better...
one of the first times wheelin the zuk after i lifted it was in shamokin right after i came back from ZookiMELT.
After a good day of wheelin I ended up rubbing through a brake line then fixed it with a borrowed vise grip....i then broke off a shock mount on the opposite rear corner from the brake line...
so now im 3 brakes and 3 shocks....and with only 12lbs of air and no where to air up....
and drove the 35-40 mile trip from shamokin to williamsport like that.....TALK ABOUT WHITE KNUCKLE!!!
and to top it all off my zook only had a z-link for steering correction and had lots of bumpsteer

lol, i can relate. try a stock jeep with sagging springs, 3 blown shocks and a tendency to do the worm on every bump, riding in morning rush hour, in the middle lane on the Tappan Zee doing 65, no top or doors, with a tractor trailer on one side, and a dually pickup on the other. by the time i got to the toll plaza I was happy to sit for 5 minutes so my adrenaline could calm down. my hands were literally trembling from the strain of keeping that jeep in the lane. close quarter driving doesn't usually bother me, but that one shook me up bad. about a week later I ordered my lift kit and took care of that suspension.

I used to have a 76 f-250 with a worn out manual steering box, A bad master cylinder, A 460 motor, way too much lift and 44" swampers. It had a half a turn of play in the steering and you would have to pump the brakes to get her to stop but she went like hell! I had soo many scary rides in that thing i'm surprised I'm still around.
On the second date with a girl going down rt 80 at about 75mph the hood flew open!(nighttime-tinted windows) I could'nt see anything. I had to ask the girl to roll down her window, stick her head out and guide me over to the shoulder so I could clean out my shorts and fix the hood. Two good things came out of that story:
1 I wound up marrying that same girl.
2 I learned a good tech tip: Make sure battery acid does not leak on the cheap tie-down strap that holds your hood down!

Actually, I have a good one. I had an old mazda b2000. The frame looked like swiss cheese due to rot, but I didn't give a rat's ass and went wheeling anyway. Me and my passenger went over the whoops in the fireman's trails. Half way through we came to a screeching halt realizing that half of the frame, what was left of the bed, and the rear end (complete with tires and driveshaft) were about 50 feet behind us. Needless to say, I'm glad we had our walking shoes on.
HAHAHHAHH!H!H!HHHAHAH THATS AWESOME! Nice I would LOVE to see a picture of that. Props to you on that one. I would love to do that myself just beat the crap out of a car.

I was doing a little friendly trail riding on a friends land when I came across a small 50' puddle .... there were several young lads on quads hanging off to the side .... I stopped to ask if they had been through it ... " sure ... all day mister ... it's only a foot deep" .... SO here I am in my big red jeep ... spring over with 37" boggers ... ( rocky theme playing in the background ) I'm going to show the kiddies what I built this pig for .... hammer on the throttle and next I know it I'm sitting waste deep in water with half the dash under .... lets just say for some reason someone dug a five foot hole in the middle of nowhere ... when I hit the other side of the hole there was such a large ledge it stopped the truck dead, where upon she took a rather large gulp of water and bent too rods .... needless to say I now have a 330 hp TPI motor as a result ... If I ever find them again I'll show those little bitches what she has now !

The only photo's I have are from a camera phone and they are of me sitting on the roof pissed as hell ... trying to figure out what I was going to hook the winch too ... I was in the middle of a small clearing ... I wound up climbing in the water and running the winch under the front diff ( used it like a snatch block .... soooo bad ) ... under the trans and under the rear diff ... hooking that to two 30' tow straps then to a small clump of bushes ... killed the battery dead trying to pull the truck backwards out of the puddle about 30' .... was not a good day ... pulled so hard that I bent the winch hook straight ...
