I was just putting the finishing touches on badzook II. Checking out the clearances like Brake Lines, Bumpstops, D/S length and a few things like that.. I don't have a ramp so I just used a jack... Oh, and don't bother flaming or busting me on my jacking methods.. I wasn't going under it..It was strictly to flex it a bit..

What he said...
I haven't earned my Submariners License yet.. And I'm not planning to get it anytime soon... I've already demonstrated my inabilities to float a Samurai.
However, it does have some very serious ground clearance.. I can easily forge almost 3 feet of water without issues..Those tires are only 33's on there right now....and since it is locked F&R if I use my Mud King's it'll do some serious mud too... 8) 8)
Can't wait. This upcoming weekend is it's Maiden Voyage. . Uh... I mean Trip  ...

Heres A pic from the 3rd paragon trip of my TJ. I can get few more inches out of it before the shocks top-out.

Yup, Those are Terra Flex Revolvers.. They work very Nicely...8)

Actually, I had my driveway built that way. The first 25 feet out from my garage is brick then the rest is pavement...The bricks hold up to my beating on them really well.... Those bricks clean up very nicely when I wash my cars there... They are easy to replace if needed.8)

I noticed that the Zuk doesn't flex nearly as much up front as in the back. what gives with that? no sway bars/track bars to disco like a jeep?

I don't have the revolvers up front yet.... I've been too busy to install them. They are a pita to put in.. Have to source out the correct shocks to use them properly.. In the back I had to install Doetsch Tech long travel shocks and relocate the mounting bolts inboard.. It took some planning to get it just right...8)

Hmmmm..... Pretty good observation but not quite right....
Actually,
Badzook I is a 5" SPOA (Spring Over Axle Lift).
Badzook II is a 7" SPUA ( Spring Under Axle Lift ) ..
Badzook I with the SPOA is very street friendly. It handles and flexes prety well. It's a happy meduim for all applications. It's street manners are great and predictable..I spent a few years getting that suspension tuned just the way I like it...
Badzook II.. with SPUA is not very stable on the street. It drives okay but not really great. It's okay getting from trail to trail but definitely not a DD.. It leans into the turns and has a tendency to sway in crosswinds.. It changes lanes when hitting bumps and Dips when stopping..It is very unpredictable. I am building it for a purely " Offroad Rig " ( for me to enjoy and beat on if I want to...).. :P
Badzook I is being Re- built for weekend country jaunts mainly for seeking out trails and long distance trips.. ( for my me & my wife to enjoy and yes she wheels it too  ) .. It was a compromise I had to work out with her after wrecking it otherwise it would never see the trails again with me behind the wheel... It only has 40k orig miles on it.... I am working on it here and there.. It will be done in the fall I hope... 8)

yup, that would do it too. jeeps are the same way SOA/SUA. SOA flexes much better. any plans to tackle those bump steer problems on Bad II?

That zook has no compession up front. What is limiting you? I would think with the revolvers in the rear that would flex alot better.
