stupid question about jeep tops

Hi guys,

I know jeep tops can be removed...but can they fold down in a way that they can be put back up easily? Every bar in the back seems to fold, but i cant get the front to detach from the window. No rush because its nasty out to day. I got a 88' Wrangler with the stock top. If any one knows how to do this and could describe it please Help me. Lol i prob disconnected something i shouldn't have and now its gonna fold when I'm going 60 down the highway lol...i hope i hooked everything up right.

To get the front lip off, you pull the bars in the back top. Pull them down so they collapse alittle bit. That will take the pressure off the top and then you can pull the lip off the front top part. Thats basically as far as I have gone... I got the whole thing down but I cant get it to fold correctly. I will try it again some nice day when I know its not going to rain...
