Wow that would be really cool. 1/2 mile under ground WOW I can use my Hellas :). That sounds like a really cool trail run. 6 miles long 3-4 hours to cover it. Sounds fun to me :)

If it's off exit 8 of the PA turnpike, that would put it in Pittsburg. Possible further west, depending on how old that is. They renembered the turnpike a couple yearas ago. IT runs west to east. Philadelphia used to be exit 28, because it was the 28th exit. Now it's exit 351 because it's 351 miles from the begining of the highway. So in the old system, exit 8 would be further east.
Wow then its really far from NJ.... WOW That would be one heck of a drive if its exit 8.

casparis is a little east of the burgh. Unfortunatly the caves and a few other places in those pictures are now closed. The main trail through the area was actually an old township road and the area is a long abandonded ghost town. The twsp road I believe is still open to travel but that is about it as far as I am aware. That is an incredible area, nice waterfalls, big trees, crazy views. We tried our best to preserve it, made offers to the water authority who owns a large portion of it to help clean it up and even lease and help patrol it but in the end we lost it. The trail along indian creek is amazing. This is a pic of the twsp road at the first crossing on indian creek.

You couldnt make a wheelin trip out of just that place anymore due to the closures but if you included some of the other areas around in a weekend trip you would have a blast and see some amazing terrain.
