I am putting on my R.E. 4.5 lift right now. I can't get to the torx bolt holding the front brake line bracket in. How does everyone remove these to put the brake line extensions on? thanks
Can you not get to it? Or is it not comming out? Mine came out easy... It had oil all over it thats probally why. Start soaking the heck out of it in pb. If that does not work. Get your impact wrench on it. Put it on the lowest setting then if that does not work move higher setting. Becarful I blew up 3 torx bits doing this but I got the one stuborn one out. Hope this helps!

I got the Torx out but now I can't get the brake line out. What size did ya use and is it better to get a line wrench?? Any auto store would have em?

definitely get a flare nut wrench for it. even then if it's seized on there bad you might end up stripping it. if that happens move to the vice grips. as far as the size, mine are 3/8"

dont be afraid to use a little heat and then hit it with some PB blaster.
