How do you post a picture?

Hi y'all,

Can some one give me some help on how to get pictures posted? I wanna stick my picture in the member rigs section. I should say the newly formed members rig section thanks to Xeon.

No programmer language explanations please :D I don't understand a lot of all that acronym stuff.

Just plain english that the average illeriate compooter user can unnerstan. :oops:

I would think you would have to sign up. Then upload your images and hopefully that will work. If anyone else has anything to help please post.

Okay, I found one that worked and I uploaded a picture. Now how do I get the picture into the Forum thread. When I do a copy, all it does is past an address link and not the actual picture. What do I do now?

Make sure the link has a .jpg or .gif or something at the end. It only works that way. Sorry there is so much you haev to do. ...

I'm sure it's not that there's so much to do as much as not having done it before. Once I get through all the steps, it's easier the second time.

is where I got the picture uploaded to from that list you provided and now I'm trying to load it into this site in the Members Rigs section and it ain't happening. There is no download options anywhere. What is the next step to getting the actual picture loaded and not just the link?

THe image your uploaded. Either its a .jpg or a .gif or what have you. Make sure you have a link to that image.

You need to take that link http://blah.blah.blah/image.jpg into link hEre!!!

So http://blah.blah.blah/image.jpg. Maks sure you take that ending . out. It was there so you can see how it is posted. Hope this helps!!!

No, actually it's getting worse. :( . Okay, so I got the .jpg link as you saw in my post. How do I take that link into the link hEre!!!?

You mean like this? You should really resize the image to about 640x480. Then link it to a larger image.

You just put that link inside of tags. Make sure there are not spaces.! Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help. I just had to stare at your instructions and all of a sudden!!! VIOLA it all made sense. I got a picture posted. It came out as one big assed picture that probably needs a wide screen TV to see but it's in there. Now I can go play. You may have created a picture monster now!! :lol: JK :)

Well, I was staring at it and those buttons at the top of the text box I never noticed before and then I saw the IMG box and cliked on it and it all made sense. Now lets see if I can make it smaller.... never thought I'd ever say that in a pubic place! :lol:
