Pine barron trip...Changed to april 24th

Hi guys,
If you want to go to the pines I am going with flendo on April 24th. We will meet at the Best Buy parking lot on route 9 south. (after Church) This is in Freehold NJ and it is by a wegmons and a verizon wirless store. Very hard to miss. We will leave from there and hopefully be on the trails wheeling by 1:00. We could wheel till sunset for all i care, i will bring my GPS so we can atleast make it back to the parking lot. If any one wants to come...Please e-mail me or post here. I think it should be a good time. Any one that has been to the pines before would be extreamly helpfull. Otherwise I am gona just have to use the map to find trails. If you have a cell...pm it to me if u want b4 we go and i'll do the same if you want just incase any of you cant find it.

Unfortunatly Sunday doesn't work for me. A 2.5 hour drive turns into almost a 5 hour drive coming home Sunday night. Being that your not meeting until 2:00pm that gets me home pretty late when I have to be up for work the next day. Maybe next time.

well i'll be there, i live in south jersey. me and the little woman been out there a few times, i might even have a map, and have to see if the trails that i went on are still in my gps. thing to do at some point is make it an over nighter, cheap to camp, fuel nearby, and no bugs this early in the year. just a suggestion.

friend of mind told me that there is a nice article in one of the new mag's that talks about wheeling in the pines.......i'll try to find out more detail tomorrow....

Hi guys,

If your coming on the April 24th trip we will be meeting in 2 places:

If you want to meet at the trail head, we will be meeting in Atsion NJ. There is a trail called horseshoe trail off rt 206. Its off on the left of 206 south about half mile or so south of the atsion ranger station. Its a sandy trail entrance right near the sign marking the burlington/atlantic county line. If you pass the wagon wheel restaurant you've gone a little too far. We will meet there about 12:30(my bad...i cant tell time lol). If your a little late its ok...becuase i dont know exacly when I will get there. If anyone meeting at the trail head has a cell...Pm me the number if you dont mind incase any one gets lost.

If your from N. Jersey and want to ride down together were meeting at the best buy in manalapan. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=cat12092&type=page&_requestid=1659 ...This link gives you driving directions as well as a map. We will meet in the parking lot at about 11:00.
Please make sure you have a CB we will figure out what channel we will be using when we get there. We will be on CB channel 12 unless we decide to change the channel. I hope to be on the trail by 1 or 1:30 at the latest. That way we can get a few hours of wheeling in before it gets dark. I think thats all you need to know...I hope to see you all there.
