Hey,
If you need help installing the rear let me know...
It seems I'm getting pretty good at doing that kind of thing lately..
I'm installing another rear in My XJ . The weak d 35 C is wiped out.
I'm looking for a D44 with no luck so far...
Does anybody know if the backing plates will bolt up from D35c to D44?
And... what about the tone rings???
I can't get an inspection sticker with the ABS lite on if I disable the ABS...Bummer...

My next project:
~Fix idle issues
Idle problems can be lots of things..
Start with a complete fresh Tune - Up.
Gap those Plugs Correctly....
Here's a few tricks for you.
1) Disconnect the battery for 24 hours. It erases the memory and resets the strategies...
2) Use your garden hose and gently spray water around the intake while the engine is running. If you have an intake leak it will show up by changing the idle pattern. Do this with the air cleaner in place and do NOT let water go down the intake.
3) Remove and clean the throttle body and idle control motor. ( Do not spray Carb cleaner in the IAC ) Use Carb Cleaner to clean the throttle plates and passages..
Good Luck..

My project now is to install a new thermastat. I found my jeep had a 210degree thermostat in it. (way to hot) Seems like an easy task aside from that i cracked the thermostat housing which leaves my jeep undrivable. Does any one know were to get a new thermostat housing for the 2.5L YJ (88') 4cyl? On quadratic they only sell one for the 6 cyl.
Thanks,
Cody

I think I have a 180 in my YJ 4 banger... The motor should be running at 210 when warm.
