Does anyone have any good write ups, links or info on how to change a U-joint on a YJ?

I have a late 95 (manufactured in Nov. 95) YJ. Does anyone know if this has 1310 or 1330 u joints?

Or what the measurements of each joint are so I can measure them?

Thanks

Its easy... I have not done it yet but I can imagine its just you tap out the old one... and press in the new one... or just hammer it in... I had a good write up but I lost the site it was on... try http://www.google.com :D

rear one is prolly a 1330/1310 joint

There is a decent writeup on jeepin.com but thats down

I do it this way

Use one socket bigger than the caps of the ujoint, use one smaller, put in big vice with one on each side and clips removed crank vice pop one cap out then the joint should fall right out

Don't quote me on it, but! I believe they are 1310 u-joints. Here's a link that will give you some idea on how to change out your u-joints,

Which U/ joint? the one buy the wheels Could be Spicer #260x or 297x the drive shaft will be a 1310 spicer number. Very rare to see a 1330 in that YJ. If you need the High quality Spicer U/ joints I have all of those in stock.
