i'm looking for a new project truck. i'd like to keep it under $4000 or close to it. something fullsize, with solid axles, leaf spring suspension, no or very little rust, and street legal. it can be lifted or stock. a v8 and auto trans prefered. year is not important. pick-up or suv. i live in Pa so emmsions is a factor. thanks for any help. oh, i guess it could have coils in the front if its already lifted. i just don't want to deal with lifting a coiled front end.

Coils are where its at leaf are ancient but if thats what you want I have A 1973 International Scout completely stock 342 V-8 and th400 trans and a Dana 300 T-case. It has Dana 44's front and rear. It needs a little TLC after all she's 30 something.

Cool sounds like a NON paragon wheeler... the trails are so tight... oh never go into the bog there... you might get stuck... ask Scott about the full size F-250 desiel...

full size rigs can make great trail rigs as well. just a question of how much of the body you're willing to hack off or dent :D
