Should we keep atleast one monthly ride at the end of the month each month. Maybe last saturday of the month? Let me know then all the wheeling trips will be planned already... :)

i like that idea, making it the same weekend every month, and it seems like most of the rids people vote on are the end of the month anyway, and this will keep from the changing back and forth so much that you cant make other plans. I approve of this.

Third weekend every month. Rock Dawgs have the 1st weekend of every month, and thats an open ride (go with whoever can go, dont need a min group of 3).

This way, you wheel every two weeks

Where do they go wheeling? At Paragon you have to have a group of three. But its almost guarenteed atleast 3 trucks or we would not go :)

First weekend of every month the Rock Dawgs hold an open ride at Paragon. You show up with how ever many trucks you can round up, and they stick you in a group with other trucks in your difficulty rating. Members of the club vonunteer as guides for the weekend. I used to go to them all the time with my Blazer since none of my friends could ever go  . I would show up there by myself with a spotter and they put me in a group. I made a lot of new wheelin friends that way. I had a blast every time!

last saturday of the month sounds good to me as well. all we would have to do is pick the location and time. then everyone can plan on that day ahead of time and any other run we do is the icing on the cake.

is good to have a set date for rides so Im ok with it....
is there any other places like paragon within the 2 hour ratio of north jersey ....paragon is fun but a change in scenario can be good sometimes

The only legal place to wheel is Rausch Creek. Its like a 3hour drive though. There really is not much legal wheeling spots near us :(.

i know some of the PA state forests have legal wheeling as well. i doubt you'll find the variety like in PAP and RC, but not having to pay to get in is nice. it's still a long drive to get to some of them though.

nothing like what you would find at either of the parks. mostly just season maintenance roads like Bad and I were on a few months ago. and even that didn't get all that interesting until we were past where the road ended. still looking though

What about the pine barrens? Never been, but I've heard there's plenty of legal wheeling down there...
