Hi, My name is Jon, 30, I have a 2002 TJ. Currently 2"BB 31" MT and a bunch of other stuff like York OBA and armor. I will post pics after work. I just wanted to say that is cool to join a club that is not Jeep specifc. I love Zukes. I had one 12 years ago when I was 18. It was a 88.5 JXi. The truck was outfitted with a lift and 31s. I am not to sure of the specifics of it as it was done that way when I bought it. It was awesome though. I sold it to some guy that drove it to Central America and that is where it is today.
Anyway, a big hello from LI and looking forward to some wheeling.
Hey and welcome! (I have typed that some many times...)
Nice 4x4s! I hope you come back and see our events. We have a few possibly in January. Hope you liek the site!

Hey Jon, good to see you here as well. I'm Mike from the Jeepforums.com meet at Roosevelt field about a month or so ago. I had the CJ-7 that was there.
Hopefully this club takes off. I'm always up for meeting new wheelers.

hey Jon & Mike. I'm the girl w/ the green tj. Nice to have another local forum. Esp. since I need to get some more wheeling experience under my belt, and perhaps there will be more opportunities for runs around here.

Hey Kyla what's up? How have you been? Why is your BB still under construction? Do you need a hand with the install? I did mine and it was a breeze. Anyways, I'll see ya around.
Mike, how are you doing?
I am going to try to get to Paragon some time early January. I will post when I am going so we can try to get more people involved.
See ya! :D

What's up Kyla? Did you get your power steering working? I remember it was leaking pretty badly at the meet.
Hey Jon, keeping busy. Staying out of trouble.
If anyone needs a hand on the Island with mods and whatnot, I'm always willing to help.

Yes! I finally got my ps box replaced!! :D I got the AGR powerbox #2 (thru quadratec) It's awsome! I can go around corners w/ one hand now! This box is seriously awsome. The steering wheel is like butter in my hands.
Anyway, yeah, I havn't had the time to get my lift on yet. I've got to have it done at my bf's house (he's got airtools) and he's busy w/ his Vr-4 at the moment.
I've already taken off for the first weekend in January for Paragon. Question: If I don't get my lift on by then, how do you think I'll do? I havn't taken it offroad scince I put the new tires on.

Glad to hear your steering is fixed. OK, I already told my wife at the beginning of this week that I plan on going to Paragon in the begnning of January, so count me in!!! About wheeling with 33s and no lift? I have never done it. I have gone with 31s and no lift and I had no problems. You may be ok if you DO NOT disconnect but I still can't promise that you will not rub.

Wish I could, but I've got to get some electrical wiring cleaned up in order to pass inspection. With the holidays coming up, I don't think I'll have a chance to work on it until after New Years. :(
