My YJ is done now, and I need to insure it so I can put plates on it. My Dodge 2500 is on my father's policy, but so is my mom's car, my sister's YJ, and both of my dad's trucks. The ins company said we cant put any more cars on the policy. My Jeep is a trail rig and the only road miles it will see is from the trailer to the trailhead, or mabye 17 miles away to the Mahwah pipeline a few times a month. It's rediculous to put regular insurance on something that will be on a trailer 90% of the time. Does anyone in NJ have limited mileage or recreational insurance on they're rigs?

It's gotta be 25 years or older for CC plates. My Jeep is an 88. I wish I could get CC plates, anything goes as far as mods when you have those

I have Hagerty insurance for my 72 ford it's about $110 a year. I remember when i was researching them they offered street rod insurance for modified vehicles. Maybee you would fit in that category.
