split rock area, is a great place to wheel. little bit of every thing in those wood, from hill clims, river crossing, nice puddles and puddels that will eat your rig. I was wheeling with a friend, his first time in the woods with his new 4x4 S-10. Pressed his luck and ended up sinking his truck to the top of the cab!

Actually, post whatever illegal spots you can think of. That'll get them all closed down real quick, and then you're only option is legal spots. Of course, there won't be any in NJ........

WE all know of a spot or two that people turn a blind eye to. Part of that is an unspoken understanding that you will behave and keep the peace. Publicly posting directions and times opens the doors to anybody. Others in the wheeling community, thieves looking for a place to dump cars, overzealous environmental activists, and underage kids looking for a place to drink. Don't think that forces who may not necessarilly be against 4x4's will hesitate to focus on these areas and eliminate all illegal activity. Even the activity that "isn't hurting anyone."
