On my Jeep the dash oil gauge is either 0 or all the way over past 80 when the engine is one and the temp only gets to about 120. Do I need new sensors or is there something else wrong?

Thanks! :P

Look for a bad ground. Loose or broken wires in that part of the harness..

Loose or broken wires... ahh that would suckand I bet thats the prob... that would take me years to fix. My wire harness is so full of oil and dirt. I was looking for some newer ones because under the tub I see wires like burnt off from the exhuast. I wouldnt even know what they were for. :(

well it sounds like your thermostat is stuck open for the temp gauge. I remember you saying that your heat sucks and the thermostat would be the cause of that. If you haven't changed it recently than I suggest replacing it.

Where does the thermostat go? How do I go about replacing it? But I need a new oil pressure sensor for sure right? Engine off ignition off 0 read on gauge then ignition on engine off pased 80 read on gauge...

its in the thermostat housing. just follow the upper radiator hose to the motor and its right there. unbolt it and pull out the thermostat. the oil pressur sounds like the sending unit. its bolted into the motor on the passenger side of the engine block by the distributor.

I think tom is on the money on this one. Your thermostadt may have been removed by the previous owner for some reason. follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. the housing that it attaches to should unbolt and inside it you should see the thermostadt. if its not in there that would be why you have no heat. it's job is to recirculate the coolant in the engine untill it reaches about 180 then it opens and lets the coolant flow through the radiator. As for the oil temp sender look near the oil filter for something with wires going to it. If those are the wires that are burnt just splice new wires to replace the burnt sections and see if that works.
