Tbi 350

its a Chevy 350 TBI Out of a 90 Chevy Blazer. fully rebuilt with a few hundred miles on it. full rubber gaskets, new injectors, the only things thats not new is the block, heads, and the crank. block and heads were brought to an engine shop and were looked over, cleaned, machined, and painted. new steel powder coated oil pan, high flow oil pump, headers, all of the sensors were replaced. alloy pistons, K&N open element filter. plus i have the computer the wiring for it along with a external fuel pump i used if you have any question please ask, its in my car now so if you wanna hear it run you can. i'd like to get $1500 (need money for my project car) for it but im up to offers

LOL well it looks like i'll probably keep the Engine and put it in my new car, but i'll be putting a carb in it so i'll be selling the Throttle Body, wiring, computer, cam, intake, sensors...

im keeping the engine its going in my new car and yea you can get the hole engine for $500....but then you'll spend $150 for new injectors and like $300 for all the sensors then like $125 for a fuel pump and $100 for a new cam...so $500 for an engine you don't know what it needs then another $600 for the other stuff or you can just buy the engine and hope it doesn't breakdown on you if you wanna do that

I don't know about that the last few I bought were basically drop ins they all ran fine. and I don't know about 300 for all the sensors TBI really only uses a O2 ,water temp, Knox, and oil pressure. but hey I've only done about 20 of these swaps what do I know.

well if you did 20 of these swaps i hope someone reminded you to also include the throttle position sensor, and the MAP sensor cuz the engine doesn't run so good without those and for the pricing yes i was wrong with all of the sensors it comes to $217.94 but autozone does have the injectors for 114.99 each if you wanna start looking into that...i've only rebuilt this engine from start to finish what do i know

There are people out there selling refurbished TBI kits with all new sensors and flow balanced injectors with a new wiring harness for $600-$800 depending on small vs. large HEI or injector size and length of harness.

PS the Engine will run w/o the MAP sensor its called limp mode. it will also run w/o the 02 and the OPS and the water temp sensor although only one can be bad if too many readings are out of range it will cause a no start these are a very simple basic computer program that GM used on just about all there EFI cars from the mid 80's to the mid 90's

well i have a buyer but he told me he'll take it in the summer if i still have it and idk about the engine running without the sensors my O2 sensor went and the next thing i know my tail pipes were dripping gas. well im sure you can run the engine without oil while your at it but i wouldn't recommend it

But it did run.


the ops only tells the fuel pump to turn off in the event of low oil pressure.
