As far as legal, you just have the beaches. I'll PM you probably on Saturday or Sunday.

I don't feel the need for someone asking about Illegal trail riding on our forum. It brings a bad name to our forum and our sport but whatever.

ps why don't you go ask the guys in NH about how much they love illegal trailer riders now that a couple weeks ago a bunch of their trails got shut down.
Just something I wouldn't want to promote if I was a website owner.

Look I see what you guys are saying about assholes that give us a bad name many spots are now under the close supervision of the police because of these people but there are no legal spots to wheel on the Island besides beaches. I am not a huge fan of wheeling on the beach its fun but not as good as mudding or rock crawling imo. There are some spots that are just unused land that have no people or houses around. If you tread lightly no one will complain. These are the spots I’m asking for. I know of some already and always looking for more. As a college student that works on weekends I don’t get a chance to leave the Island to offroad but there are some very fun spots here that if you tread lightly you will have no problems. I know of some spots and I protect them for the fact that I want to keep returning to these spots. So if you do not like the fact of me asking for Illegal spots on the Island you shouldn’t like people asking for any spots besides beaches on the island because there are no legal spots besides beaches to wheel on. The only acceptation I see to this would be if you had permission to wheel from the owner. If any of you would like to wheel on the Island or anywhere near it plz let me know by pm or my email ectheking@hotmail.com I should be able to wheel as soon as I replace the steering box on my jeep.

Still, to come on a message board asking where to wheel illegally is kinda stupid don't you think. Why don't you hook up with Long Island Off Road (http://www.ec4wda.org/LIOR/), Maybe they can point you in the right direction:spinrhead

Its a hike, but Rausch creek has awesome trails, and its legal. Worth it in gas alone as opposed to getting nabbed on an illegal path in the woods.
