I just orderd a Carter P5001 (Universal TBI fuel pump). I have a E2000 as a backup if this one does not do the trick.

Anyway, I need advice on a fuel filter. There are really expensive ones for high pressure EFI and cheap carb ones. Or should I just adapt a stock GM one?

Thanks.

PS: I am running all -6 fuel hose. So if there is a fuel filter with -6 AN fittings, that would be perfect.

hwy waste money on an fittings its only 13 psi fuel hose with some clamps will work fine save the money for some where elese. Use a carb in line fuel filter and that E2000 pump puts out like 50-60psi way to high

You only need a pump that puts out about 18-20 psi max. The TBI runs on about 15psi. The filter, you can run a carb filter. The tbi injectors are easy to change and cheap if you clog them up, but i doubt that will happen.

The Carter P5001 is a TBI specific pump which puts out 20 PSI max at 50 GPH. I will just pick up a 3/8" inline carb filter.

Thanks for the input.
