Locate your axle with a 4 link, cut a 1 ton leaf spring in half and keep taking leaves out until it works the way you want. Bolt the frame end solid and make a half shackle for the axle end using a heim joint.

Personally I like the idea of using 3" ID coilover coils if not using air shocks or coilover shocks.
