I will post pictures in a few days. But I think atleast one of my kingpins need to be replaced.

Anyone have experience with this? I can see from BillaVistas how too, its going to be one hell of a project.

Any tips? I will post pictures of the kingpins shape, as I might not need to replace it.

Thanks!

Not sure if this helps you, but it is the factory service manual for a D60 front. Page 10 is where the kingpin section starts.

The best and easiest way to remove them. I need to get a 7/8ths allen key, probally do what Billa Vista did and go to a steel shop and grab 7/8s hex and get it bent. Then a huge cheater bar to remove the kingpins. I would also assume I need some serious heat to get them out. Everything so far on this axle has been a total disaster taking apart.

Here are the pictures of the kingpins. I definitally think I need to replace the passenger side one... Its pitted pretty bad.

I never even look at then I replace them and the bearings all the time. I have a 7/8 Allen key that I use on my 3/4 breaker bar. haven't had a problem yet. They are not that bad as billa vista makes them out to be. You just need the right tools. definitely need a torch.
