Well, my friend is hooked on the Jeep scene now and decided to pick up a nice little used 4 banger for $600. I pointed him in the direction of some 2.5" leafs and 1" shackles and he has a 1" hockey puck lift being made for his body. Today I was going to drop my boss off at a ford dealership to get his car and a guy walked up and was like.. wanna buy some tires?? I was like..uhh, what size? (cause..well we all know we could use another set of tires) He was like 31x10.50x15"s. Since I have 15x10 rims I was like BLAH, but figured I would pick them up for my friend. Well, come to find out, they are super swamper tsl's with about 40% tread left on them. I was like..hmm, I guess it is gonna be a lot. I asked the guy how much and ..WHAM...$100 for the tires! Not too bad for a nice set of strictly trail tires.
Now why can't I ever find deals like this that work out well for me???
