Any pick and pull yards still around in northern New Jersey?? I need some parts for my xj and id love to just walk around... Anybody know of any??

There is one kidna near me. Its called Rockoway Auto. I think I spelled Rockoway wrong... but its here and I hav ebeen there. I am getting my windsheild done there because its mad cheap :) Let me know I can get a phone number.

Supposedly there's a huge one in Middlesex. I've never been, but I've heard good things. My buddy also said that there were plenty of old XJs there.

There is one called Roxburry auto reckers and then there is one on rt 46 west in pine brook called pine brook "something or other" both have alot of shit 8)

yea the only one i know of is called cosmo's and its in bayville(maybe) right off of route 9 by my other house. Hes pretty good but its no longer pick and pull because of liability and theft. :mad:

The yard in pinebrook is G I Auto Salvage right off rt46
the other one is Roxbury auto wreckers in wharton on west dewey ave.
PORT MURRAY AUTO SALVAGE is a pretty good size also.
Theres a real big one in montana NJ off of rt 57 in warren county I think the name is cobers I picked up some jeep j10 stuff there a few years ago and saw a good amount of jeep stuff.
I"ve always heard that harry's pic and pull(I think thats the name) in PA is supposed to be huge and pretty inexpensive

Hey Rockdawg, thanks for the info. I usually get my junk upstate New York, but Im glad there are some places still around in Jersey. Harrys u-pull-it is supposed to be a huge place with acres and acres of cars/trucks. They also have a website, but dont itemise their parts because the inventory changes every week. I started driving out there once and got caught in heavy traffic on route 80, so I called it quits and went back home. It is pretty far off from the Bergen County area.

harrys has some xj parts...i was there in december they had 2 98-01 xj's and several pre 98's..but no cj,yj,tj's

Yup, It's called Kobers and it's pretty big. Been a few years since I was there though...

Harry's is a pic and pull and It's pretty big..It's in Hazleton, Pa I've made a few trips there and always come home with some expensive stuff real cheap... You can bring your own Wagon to pull around or rent one and they do NOT allow power tools.. They check your tool box when entering and leaving and no minors are allowed in. Yes, they ID them too... They also hold raffles on the weekends . Pretty Cool Place..


There's also a boneyard next to them that sells late model rebuildable wrecks if you need a complete drivetrain real cheap..I've seen a few good deals there too..

I've never been disappointed and always thought it was worth the trip...

I need an XJ passenger side Front fender 97-01 preferably forest green but anything will work, passenger side headlight bezel, new drivers seat 97-01 cause mines all torn up... and basically i wanted to just see what else id be able to pull for cheap at a junkyard
