Well, I went wheeling today at PAP and towards the end of the day my left front wheel fell off. As it fell off, one of the lug studs busted a hole in the rim, so I am now down one aluminum rim. Thankfully, for some strange unknown reason I have 11 spare rims in my shed, so I should be good to go there. I was able to put my spare tire on with three new lug nuts I carry, the original ones were no where to be found, and was able to limp out to the parking lot. A couple that was wheeling in our group gave me and james a ride back to long island, and we got a ride back to our houses after that. Unfortunately, i was too shocked at the sight of my wheel laying on the ground with my XJ on top of it to take pics.
So, I'm heading back to PAP next weekend with my trailer to pick up the jeep and bring her home for proper repairs.

yeah we had a intersting trip but one thing learned the 4 door JK's have lots of room in the back
Doh, just asked what happened on your trip thread.
Sounds like an interesting evening. Did the lug nuts just back out?

Not quite sure what happened there. I'm guessing that they were a little loose to begin with, but we did make the 200+ mile trip there with no problems, and wheeled 15 miles, then the tire fell off right after I got pulled out of a mud hole. I don't think the pull had much to do with it, but it could have i guess.

Mine started falling off too! Did you put them on when it was cold out and then it warmed up?
