View Full Version : Ahh light
Today my Dad and I installed some lighting in the garage and our utility area.
Here is the Jeep side of the garage. Tomorrow is wiring up for the welder, finally. Total cost: $0

They look better on the ceiling than on the floor inside!

shit almost looks as full as mine..
They look better on the ceiling than on the floor inside! Yea they do. Its a world of a difference. From one 60W bulb to 10 32W tubes... its almost daylight in there. I can acually see what I am doing for a change.
shit almost looks as full as mine.. Yea there is a lot of stuff in that garage. But plenty of room to work.
Damn Home Depot does not stock the NEMA 6-50R plug or one that is close. So I have to wait until I get a plug to weld :(.

Looks good man. Is that area heated? I have a few flourescent lamps in my garage, but they do not light properly when the temps are too low, like below 25*, they just flicker alot until i get pissed off and turn on the incandescents.

Its not heated all the time. I turn on Als propane heater if I am working in there for a long time. It takes the lights about 10 minutes to get at full brightness. They dont flicker however.

Lowes actually stocks alot of electrical supplies like that.... There are a few electrical suppliers in your area as well......
My work pulled through again. Got the 10-3 cable, plug, box, and cover. I am all wired up and running! The welder works great! Its a lot faster then my little 110v unit. I made a huge bugger weld in no time.
