Hey guys, I am Andrew Jn., an employee of The 4x4 Place (some of you may have seen my jeep on the side of route 15 S) and I am sent here to invite all of you to our land we are acquired at the shop. We have 7 acres of privately owned land that is nothing but HUGE ROCK! I have been cutting trails for some time now and there are climbs my jeep cannot get to the top of yet (w/39" red label krawlers, 4 links fr/rr, extended wheelbase, full hydro, atlas, etc..). On top of this 7 acres is an additional 90 acres of preserved land that we have access to from our land that I have not had chance to explore yet. So The 4x4 Place is inviting all of you guys that don't have a place to wheel to come up and ride some of the trails that I have cut out. We are on Rt 15 S in Jefferson Township. Please call us to make arrangements if interested @ 973-891-1144. We also have a full blown shop and store to service you in any way possible.

Let me know, I'll definitely come over, see if I can drag some of the LI guys along with me. We are doing Paragon this w/e, but after that I'll be right up for it. Thanks for the offer!!.............I just mapquested it and it's only 1hr 20mins from me, closer than I thought, so count me in. :)

Sounds great. Is it all extreme or can mildly modified rigs handle it?

Hi Andrew,

I know exactly where you are. I've seen your rig a few times as I pass by there. Right at the top of that steep hill. Looks like a nice build up. I've been meaning to stop by but usually blow through there real early in the am. There's a bunch of steep trails opposite you as well. They're really steep and very challenging. I've run through there on my dirt bike and have doubts that a jeep could make those climbs. I'll stop in and say hi next ime I'm through there at a decent hour. :wtg:

Welcome to the forum. Hope to wheel with you sometime.

Hey guys, sorry for the no response for so long. I've been real tied up at the shop and with school leaving not too much time for surfing the boards lately. We just had North Jersey Jeep Club up there this past weekend in the snow and everyone had a blast. This weekend I'm hoping to get to Paragon providing I rebuild my motor fast enough but after that I will post up and maybe set up a little meet and greet there this month and we can all break our stuff together! For those wondering if there are trails that aren't just hardcore- there are plenty. There really is no trails to speak of just a plot of land that is basicaly one big hill for you to find your way around and play on. See ya later- Andrew Jn.

I'm in a welding class at Morris County vocational school with Dan from NJJC, he said he had a great time.

A couple tri-staters are coming up this weekend so if anyone feels like playing I will probably be cutting some new paths to play on since the snow is mostly gone. We are meeting up at 10:00 am on Sunday so if you would give us a heads up by posting that would be great.

I would like to come up. Do you need any tools for clearing?

The more tools we have to clear stuff the faster we can get to drive it so the more the better!

Hey I'll come up Sunday. I'm the guy with the black YJ you saw up at the other spot a couple weeks ago when you were riding in your buddy's explorer.

Cool. Looks like we should have a good group on Sunday. If you have a trailer just park on the side of the driveway before you go up to the main parking lot.

All in all it was an awesome day. Plenty of action. I myself did not take any pics but my friend did so hopefully I will be posting them in the near future. It ended up that the only people that showed up were Chriss and Justin in Chris's Jeep so we had a blast on some of the harder stuff. Looks like everyone got scared from the night's rain, which did make some obsticals very difficult.

Andrew, thank you for inviting us up. I had fun. The ground was saturated making the obstacles very challenging. The area is full of great obstacles that will challenge anyone. I will definetly be going back in the future.

Nice. I should have at least gone to watch. I'm too new to this sport and your place sounds too rough without me feeling like a liability, but it was definitely a nice day - glad it was fun. What a great idea though, let us know again next time.

You guys got land to ride on! That's Fantastic! I work less than 3 miles from you. WOW, do you guys have a set time when your riding or something?:spinrhead

We do not have a set time that we ride, just whenever therer is no other event and its nice out. I will post when we are having people up. Just waiting for this white stuff to go away right now because anyone that doesn't want seroius body damage would not want to ride in the conditions we have right now.
