On Saturday January 27th at 8:30AM Tri-State 4x4 will be getting together for another wheeling trip! Please arrive by 8:30AM or earlier, the park gates open at 8AM. Please be paid and ready to go in park at 9:00AM. We will probably split up into at least two groups. Because there are some people who want to wheel on the harder trails like blacks or harder. I know there will be a few people with stock or with some modifications. Make sure you guys have battery tie downs and your trucks are within the park requirements. Visit http://www.paragonap.com for more info on the vehicle requirements.

Trip Details:
> Meet time is 8:30AM in the parking lot. We will have a banner saying Tri-State 4x4. We usually meet near the back of the lot, or if it’s not crowded we are in front.

> Check in with the group first. Then go grab your pass for the day or longer if you choose so. If you have not been to the park, please arrive 30 minutes early, fill out the paper work, and watch the video.

> If you are running late, please contact one of the Tri-State 4x4 leaders for the trip. We will contact you before we go into park if you have not checked in.

> Once we are in the park, we meet in Staging Area 1. This is where we will discuss the events for the day and organize groups if needed.

> If we split into groups, we usually meet at 1:30PM in the play area for lunch together.

> We usually use channel 12 on the CB. If we need to change the channel we will discuss that in the play area.

Extra Tips and Helpful Information:
> Your rig should have a minimum of at least one tow hook front and rear. Forget rules these are very basic needs for wheeling. You can easily damage your vehicle if you pull on the wrong place.

> A 25k tow recovery strap. NO HOOKS only looped ends. It's a good idea to get two "d rings" so it's easier to hook-up. Those hooks become missiles when they get loose.

> CB Set. If you can't communicate with your group you have no idea what's going on up in front of you. New comers usually ride in the middle or rear and with 5 rigs you'll always be wondering what's going on up front without it. Besides it's also considered a safety item in an emergency situation.

> Lunch. Bring plenty of food and drinks for you and your passengers to get you to sundown. It's no fun wheeling when you are really hungry or thirsty. We stop for lunch and snack breaks.

> Fire Extinguisher, Mandatory. You could save a life or a rig if you have one. It's basic and a very good idea. Put it in a place where you can access it quickly.

> A full size spare tire ( Check to see if it's properly inflated before you go ). Donut spares do not count.

> Basic Hand Tools. You can sometimes borrow these from other people on the trail but please return them.

> Fluids. At least 5 quarts of oil and one gallon of coolant.

> Fill up your fuel tank before entering the park.

Other Information:
> Please before you leave your house you have what you need to get into the park. If you have a question about the rules please contact the park. They will tell you exactly what to do.

> You may bring a camera to take pictures or video. Please bring food for yourselves or others if you choose too.
