1-29-05 Have fun? I did!

Well I don’t know about you, but I had a blast! I think the best part was when Jeremy and his ZJ was following us (Cherokee) and we were going over the ice in the play area and he just feel threw. And he was stuck but he wanted to stay in and get muddy. But we finally got him out and then everyone else tried to go threw. Dan and his Taco tried to get threw it took a few tries and he finally got threw. Then Al and his beastly TJ with full lockers just plowed right threw and same with Tom and his HUGE YJ with a Chevy 350 in it just blew right threw it. Then we headed out on the trails around the back of the play area. We got lost and then we finally got a call from Scott so we can pick him up because he was waiting for FreeBird if he was able to fix his Zook. Too bad he was unable to fix his zook. We all were feeling bad for him and we can’t wait to see him on the next ride. Hopefully he can get his rig back up and running because its perdy. :) After all that Scott and his YJ found us and we got back on the trials and the first trail together almost everyone got stuck on the entrance to the trail. It was good times but we all finally got up. Even the Stock TJ with Baja claws drilled right up the hill where 3 people got stuck. Dan with his Taco was stuck for some time and we got the winch ready. But he was like alright one more try and got right up. See the funny thing is he did this all day. As we were getting the tow strap or something to get him out he just finally got it. It was a great day! There was another stuck spot and we all finally got up same thing with the Stock TJ he just got up there in one shot. Once again another hill but the stock TJ got high centered and we had to pull him out. But in the end that TJ showed us how great even stock TJs handle and how much tires really do make your rig what it is! Then the trails were mostly straight forward got lost a few times and we all just had a blast! So before we all left we decided we would get muddy. Since the mud hole was already made. Everyone except a few that did not want to get dirty and replace there fluids went threw the mud hole that Jeremy kindly made. I will post links of the about 18 minute video I put together real fast last night. You will see how much fun we had. And the next ride I really hope we can get some more people! Even though this group was perfect! Hope you all had as much fun as I did!

yeah it was a good day.. my crossmember took a good beating on a high centered rock i managed to get stuck on but other than that it was a really good day. Not much damage for the group and hopefully we can start going to paragon as tristate4x4 more often.

Well atleast you are thinking good! Yea I think the most damage for the people out on the trails was Traviso with his stock TJ. He got it muddy and busted his front lisence plate! Damn that TJ did awesome!

Now wife is telling me to get a seacond jeep because she want to drive her own, i think she is hooked. My buddy also loved it. So much that today he order an RE 4" lift and some 33 BFG MT and is getting it ready for next time.

Hey guys it's Dan the kid with the Tacoma. I definately had a awesome time saturday- best wheeling trip i've been on. Next time, I'll have new tires and at least a rear locker so I won't have as many issues as I did.
Also, for the carnage count, my rear quarter panel did end up hitting that tree toward the end of the trail, so I have a nice scratch n' dent area now. It's all character though :D . Thanks again guys and I'm looking forward to the next trip!

A Big Thanks to Justin (I edited this its Justin not Jason :)) for putting this trip together. I had a great time and only suffered minor carnage(I cought the door latch and ripped the ass out of my jeans climbing out of my jeep. :oops: ) Everybody had a great attitude and I've never wheeled with a better bunch of people. I feel bad for freebird, thats one wild looking ride.
Dan-dont sweat the tires, your driving style more than made up for them.

Well the day started early and i was questioning why the hell i woke up so early but as soon as we pulled into the dinner parking lot and i saw clint and then i saw Als MONSTER rig. We caravaned up all of us. When we got there i almost shit in my pants with all of the rigs that were in the parking lot......i signed my waiver and went out to my truck to air down. By this time i found out the freebirds truck was completely FUCKED. (dude we all felt so bad for you) we started the ride and not even fifteen minutes in I fell throught the ice about 2 feet deep, i played around and then scott pulled me out just for saftey sake( i didnt want to chance braking anything) I thout it was funny. after that we all kept rippin on dan because he kept getting stuck. We all kept bustin on him and but all in good fun. the rest of the day was great.........hands down. I think we have the best group of guys, real down to earth. BOYS I HAD ALOT OF FUN LETS DO IT AGAIN NEXT MONTH.
