located in the tremont/tower city area of PA its about 30 min. south of paragon on I81. great mix of mud and rocks, and plenty of trails including Rock Creek (about a quarter mile of BOULDERS :D ).
if anyone wants to head up there let me know, i know my way around here pretty well...

I have been to Tower City! Its all coal mine and such! I went there with my Dirt bike once. It was totally worth the drive! If Raush Creek is near there I bet its a great place to wheel.

I'm fairly new to this LEGAL wheelin thing. Although I've never personally went to either of them, people I've talked to say Paragon has more trails and more challenging stuff. I'll be finding out for myself soon as I get more protection on the Grand though.

yea i was at paragon in the early spring and it was an aweful weekend weather wise. i didnt really get to do much wheelin. long story...but what i did get to do was pretty cool. im anxious to get back there again.
im still working bugs out of my zuk since i had it apart for a year. my tin top body was rotted so i swappin in a soft top body and did a 1.6 8v EFI swap and got some bugs there too.... that and regular maintenece stuff is all hitting me at once. ill get through it though...

here's a typical "easy" trail from Rausch. Kyle runs it every time he visits  We've got about 25 miles of trails on 1,000 acres, you don't have to drive very far once you check in to get yourself stuck if you wish!

THATS EASY!!??!!? Wow I am screwed...

freebird01,
Have you done any wheeling in Sproul State Forest? That is out your way..I've wheeled it with a quad a couple of times and must say it is really a great place with a lot of variety..

Yup,
I've wheeled at paragon too. And that pic is what there is lots of out there... Rocks . There are some easy trails there too. You can pic and choose. Visit their website and download a map you'll see what I Mean..
I have some 35mm stills of my zook in the rocks out there I'll have to see if I can scan them in and get them posted up...
badzook
Yea paragon is rocky. I guess I really dont notice them when I only have 2 wheels to deal with... :D

RC has trails of all levels. We've also got muddy trails that have been described as pure evil  We're not open to quads or bikes though, just trucks, jeeps, SUV's etc. Hope to see you guys out there soon. Kyle does know his way around pretty well.

Kyle runs it every time he visits
yeah....me and the open f/r YJ make it up that without a problem  .
i have been to both paragon and rc...and i have to say i'd rather wheel at RC. its closer (for me) and MUCH easier to find you're way around.
hey lynn...lets not mention those evil trails, like trail 10 where me and jon found ourselves at afew weeks ago. maybe next time i can convince him to try the 5 ft. deep mud pit on the pole line

Lynn, why not scare them all away next time!!? :D
Both Paragon and Rausch have one very common and important similarity...THEY ARE BOTH LEGAL!!
Both offer excellent challenges, both demand your patronage or we're all gonna end up riding bicycles...
If anyone wants to go to Rausch, I'm more than willing to guide.

Hi . all!
My first post here :D .
I've been to Paragon with a group of fellows that had varying degrees of mods. I'm glad I installed skid plates & Boulder Bars. They were a real investment!
I've heard that RC is not as challenging as Paragon. What does everyone else think?

RC has trails of all levels, both muddy and rocky. Many trails have bypasses, so it is possible to get a lesser-equipped vehicle through some of the harder trails if you take every bypass. So if you run a technically hard trail but skip all the hardest stuff, than yeah, you might think that it wasn't challenging.

paragon is bigger than RC, but not necessarily harder. there are plenty of trails at rausch that most rigs probably wont make it up. if you dont think rausch can be challenging, then you havent tried any of the harder trails there.
