To snorkel or not to snorkel

I am considering getting a snorkel but have a problem. When I read the fine print it said that it was meant for jeeps without A/C. Does that mean unless I get rid off my A/C I can't have a snorkel?

Its just probally due to how they route the intake hose. On the XJ, you have to relocate or buy there windsheild water bottle. I dont see much of a use for a snorkel. But if you do lots of mudd and deep water, they are great to have. Thats as long as you seal it correctly, and seal all the other important parts of the motor. Hope this helps.

Yeah it was just sort of a fancy, nothing necessary (yet). I think I'll use the money for rock guards instead. Thanks for the help.
