Depends on what you can fit under the thing. Do you have a lift? Is it a dd? Can the rest of your truck handle the bigger size? Are you opposed to cutting it up? I went stock size on my Durango which are 31's and I could've maybe fit in 32's without trimming, and my truck is a monster compared to yours. Read up on other's post's I know they're around they tell you all about what you need to do when going bigger in the tire department. Hope this goes well for you and congrats on the Found On Road Dead. J/K :lmao:

Hey man, congrads on the buy. I saw a Ranger with some minor adjustments to the front end, and he fit 32 BFG MTs easy.

Congrats on your Ford. I was always a DIEHARD Ford truck fan until I bought this Jeep thing LOL. Anyhow, a great resource for any Ford Truck owner is Ford Truck Enthusiast website.

I ran a 87 for quiet a few years it had the 2.9L 6cyl though and a 86 two wheeler that worked great in the mud and the old logging roads of NC, they make great DD trucks, but you want the 5 speed manual, the automatics on the 80's models atleast don't hold up, to say it nicely.

I had a pair of IIs with 2.9s in them and I got 32s on there with about a 3.5" susp lift. You might want to consider though the 4 banger might not have the snot to push tires that size. Also, with any lift on those rangers/bronco IIs, you have to watch the cross arm front susp. Its a PITA to get right once youve lifted it up.
If you want to have fun with it and beat it up... id stay with a LOW COG, and get set of 31s with aggressive tread. The 4 cyl can get them moving good, and you will lower your chances of breaking things.
