Adding picture to outting catagories.

Is it possible to allow permission for members to upload pictures to the outtings section? It's somewhat annoying to have to send them to Justin to have them put up. Especially when his email will only accept files less than 10 megs most of the time.

Possibly give the rights to the members that were on the ride for the month. Then if justin would like, he can go and delete the ones he finds pointless.

no he's talking about adding them directly into the Tri-state gallery in the folder that matches the run they were took on. official members can do this in the private galleries but not to the Monthly run folders directly.

I cant do the permissions like that. Maybe I will setup some sort of uploading to the website that only I can see where the files are put. Let me work on that, I think I have a simple upload program laying around... Basically you will go to a special site, then upload and I will take it from there. The gallery permissions are different and I cant just give certain people permissions, unless they are in a group.

What about just some simple ftp server? I remember using a program called u-serv a while back. Pretty simple.

Yup,

I plan to post a few pics from yesterday but, I started with over 400 pics that we shot. After deleting the junk I still have like 323 and need to resize them before posting a few of them. Most are between 300-500 kb and a few over 700 kb. ......... :spinrhead
Does antbody have a link for program to rezize them easily?

Rod, you dont need to resize them. 700kb is small. Most the pictures are like 800kb. Send them to me full size just put like 100 to a zip file. I am working on an uploading script so there is almost no size limit.
