This came in from the New York Off Highway Vehicle Assoc.
It shows that the Nature Conservancy doesn't always "win" and get ALL the marbles.
The reason in this case is because OHV drivers and riders in NY spoke VERY loudly to Pataki and their congresscritters and when this took place, TNC had to accept or lose completely.... Now of course, they have to be watched like hawks to make sure they don't veer from the plotted course.

As you read you'll notice that the land hasn't been totally set aside for motorized recreation but will be left up to public opinion.... we will then need to hit Pataki and the congressmen in NY with letters voicing our opinions.... and if we lose... it'll be only our fault for not stepping up and writing enough.
