Quads, Bikes, & Jeeps April 1st @Paragon [Archive]

A bunch of us are going to paragon April 1st. to play around on the quads, dirt bikes and some green trail runs with the Jeeps/trucks.
Anybody interested is welcome to come out and play.

Here is a list of who is going so far.

Me and 4 bud's on quads

Donny doing a shakedown run with his new YJ and an offroad go-cart for his nephew

Jay and his new Chevy running greens (don't Splash Jay's new rig with mud ;-) )

ill come and bring my quad, although i wont be keeping up when you guys open it up, ill be able to pull ya out with the winch when ya get stuck! i also have a good size trailer if a couple people wanna meet up with me and save some gas money on the trip there!

ive been trying to get up there with the g/f on the quads only problem is i dont have a 2 quad trailer only a single one, but if i can find one i might be up there

Cool Chris, Now we need to find an extra trailer spot for dave's quad. I am trying to fit 3 quads in mine or I would help you out. Dave, what town are your quads in? Maybe somebody is passing by with an extra spot.

So Chris has a 400ex, Al you have my 400ex so it should be fun :D. I will have my 426, I started it up the other night. So we are good.

I have a 3 bike trailer, if anyone wants to get together or I can chuck my bike on someones let me know. Less trailers and trucks the better :).

i should have room, i should be able to fit 3 on my trailer without a problem, but i dont know how well i can pull 3 with my 4 banger! so if thereis someway to get them to my house i would be happy to help, or even meet up somewhere or somethign!

hope so Al though it's gonna be pushing the envelope here. not sure i can get the trailer and the new rear bumper to hook it up to in time for this run. though i might be able to talk my buddy into bringing his wolverine down and then we can just toss them both on/behind his pickup. gotta give him a call. damn, where does time go?!?

Vinny has a kfx 400 and so does my other buddy who is comming this trip.
They do kick ass.

To anyone who is coming remember you need a flag.
They sell the flags and poles there and I will have tools with me if anybody needs to mount one at the park.

I got the green one. Looked at both and prefered it over the orange. I can't believe the throttle response on this thing! The suspension is incredible too. Now I just have to break it in before the first.

what's the deal on the goggles guys? I know the rules say you need them, but my helmet doesn't work well with them (it's a snowmobile helmet). will safety glasses pass?

I would think you'd be alright, I dont remember them looking that close at us last time.

I will be there too, just dropped off my quad for service today, and ill have it back on tues. But im in the same boat as scott since my quad is ohhh aboutt 650lbs i dont think ill be keeping up with you guys with the 2wd quads

Yes at paragon.
There are atv and bike only trails there too but I think it's only because jeeps wont fit on them.

BTW: it was good to see you again on the last trip.

Ha so today I took the bike for a ride. I started it up and went up the driveway and turn around in the street liek I always do. So today, I went up, did a wheely, then started turning around and it stalled. Ok, sure happens. And guess what drives down the road? A FRIGGIN COP while I am in the middle of the road. I was liek you have got to be kidding me. He tells me to come over, I am liek I swear I just was turning around... hes like yea sure anyway did you see a black car drive by? I am like no... hes liek have a good day.

I thought it was funny...

I should be up there around 8:30. I guess we can all meet in the play area if we dont see everybody in the parking lot. That way atleast we can screw around while we are waiting for guy's.
If anybody is coming alone you can pm me and I will give you my cell# that way if you are running late someone can wait for you or can come back out to meet you.

If anybody has another suggestion I'm all ears.

quad's up and running, just no way to transport yet. shrapnel's gonna bring the soon to be mine trailer up here saturday, but unless someone knows how to bend time, I won't be able to get it registered any earlier than monday after the trip. and I haven't finished the back bumper yet to hook it to anyway. the front is coming along nicely though. :wtg:

As of right now I will be dragging a landscape trailer full of quads to the park leaving rockland co saturday morning around 5.

Mario's Grizzly 660 (he's entertaining to watch).

Weather looks overcast but warmer which is good

Well, it looks like I have to back out of this one. I snapped all three motor mount bolts on the passenger side and actually cracked part of the block off. So I have no way of getting my quad out there. At least it looks like I'll be doing my stroker motor pretty soon. Have fun guys.

im not gonna be able to make this ride either, getting stuff toghter yesterday i relized my trailer reg. is expired and one of the tail lights stopped working, and with the po po up by paragon i better not take a chance.

the 450 dropped out and Mario AKA Flabio AKA Croation Sensation is takin his sweet ass time getting to my house with the trailer so we probably wont make it out to the Hazleton Motor Inn until about midnight tonight.

I have the green Dodge diesel with the 38" swampers in the bed and the landscape trailer full of quads

To everyone that came on the trip. Thanks, I had a great time riding with you all. We got to see how well quads and dirtbikes are on Black trails... :doh: . Got see a Ford to stuck in the mudd and Donny pull him out.

I had a great time. Sorry about my dirt trail I left on some of your quads...

Yes a certian individual who shall remain nameless (name starts with a J and ends with ustin) took a dirtbike and 2 sports quads down a black 2! The flag rule is bullshit as usual but thats what Paragon has become in the last few years and why I will always prefer Raucsh. Other than those two minor things it was a blast and I cant wait to get back there on my quad. It was cool to see the park from a different perspective and also to see some trails I havent been down in years. Oh and I think its the only time I've ever riden my quad legally since I got it!

dont know if any of you saw me get my ass handed to me on the hill climb but my shoulder should be back to normal by the end of the week. The rear rack is tweeked and theres sand IN my rear tires, but other than that the bike was OK. Should be since I broke it's fall!

We had a great time too! Had fun on the hill climbs, my buddy Chuck flipped at the top of one and his bike(kfx400) made a spectacular trip to the bottom. He bent the crap out of it and broke off the cluch lever.

I had some problems of my own near the end of the day..........Whats wrong with this picture?......

I was powersliding through a turn and clipped a rock with the front tire. I broke the steering knuckle, bent a tie rod and ruined a mostly round rim. Oh well time for some upgrades.
