Installed HEI today.

I installed an HEI dist. onto my YJ with 4.2L. She now starts up within seconds and runs like a top. No more rough idle. I get on the gas and she rev's right up. No sag or bogging down. She doesn't even stall out when cold anymore. I spent a total of $145 for all the parts, and I can't believe how much of a difference this made. Thanks to all who gave info in my previous post.

Great! Good to hear you got your rig running great. Now get some fuel injection ;-)

I will. Probobly another year or two though. It seems alot of the issues I was blaming on the carb were actually ignition probs. so I may be able to hold off the injection until after I put a lift on. I can't wait until I can get off the stock trails!

Glad to hear this worked for you.I did the same in my CJ,went with the MC 2100 for the carb. GOOD COMBO
