My 88 5.0 Bronco will not run. I drove it to work one day after I had the beast inspected. I had the Fuel tank and the fuel pump replaced. I go out for lunch and the thing stalls and will not start. I got it towed to a buddys shop and explain what happened. At 1st I though I got a bad fuel pump or it died, so I had it replaced. Still wouldn't run. Butch then checked all the relays and switch's. They all worked or were good. Finally, he replaced the Ignition Module in the coil and it ran. My buddy then went to start it the next day and it wouldn't start again. He gets spark, but nothing to the injectors. We replaced the computer too and still nothing. Any idea? Maybe the replacement computer was bad?

maybe a bad sending unit, or the lines from the sending unit are bad...

sounds like a fuseabal link the triger for the injecters is grownd so you are losing power to them look for a bad fuseabal link of the batery or a broken wire

they finally fixed it, it was the black box or something. basically it was a faulty ground wire.

the black ground wire that runs to the ecu from the battery is a common problem on older fords. its a connection near the battery the corrods easily. glad to hear its fixed.
