Howdy all. I'm new to the forums, wondering if there's anyone else around here from North Jersey, and where you guys go wheeling around here :)
I am from North NJ
I live in Randolph! There are no places to wheel around here legally. I wheel in my backyard I have 2 acres and I have a pond stream. Its liek a little offroad park :D

Im from washington twp, in bergen county. I dont really know of any legal places to wheel, so we drive up into the catskills where my friend has 200 acres of land that we wheel on.
We need to become freinds with your freind :D THat would be cool if he let a few people ride on his property. I ahve a freind with 100 acres in PA but its a 4 hour drive. I will only do it a few times not a lot... :D

No shit, I'm in Randolph too! Where abouts in Randolph, and what does your Jeep look like? I may have seen you around. I just got the Jeep, if you've seen me around, it's likely been in the 'Stang or the Pontiac. I live right near the YMCA.
HAHA no way! I live near Shoungum lake! hey want to come by and help with my lift installs and stuff? Well I have a White Grand Cherokee which had hellas on the top. Then I took it all off to sell. I am driving that now but I have an ulgy yellow wrangler in the garage. Click on the link in my sig. Cool you live near a few of my freinds. Whats you jeep look like? :D

My jeep is a faded blue Laredo with a lot of cheap imitation chrome accents :D I'm going to order the Rusty's 3" leaf spring pack lift tonight as I've finally fixed all the major issues with the jeep, but I'm still not sure what tires to go with (31x10.50 on stock 15" rims), as I want a decent on/off road tire without spending a fortune.
I'm an auto tech (I work at the Randolph Midas on Rt 10, next to Dunkin Donuts), so I'm sure helping you out will be no problem :)
Hey you might have looked my my freind Wrangler. Its a 91 white Wrangler with some brake problems. HAHA THat would be funny if you worked on his! Hey maybe you can get me in there on a lift and pull my t-case out :) that would be hot... I live like 2 mins away from there. Down Millbrook and off persions hill then to shoungum road and I live on farm/arnold :D
I want to get 31's too so they fit up under my stock flares so I dont have to deal with the cops. Do you do inspections? I need it done... and I will not pass... because of my windsheild is cracked and I dont have $200 for a new window...

I don't think I worked on any Wranglers recently, but we do see a lot of Jeeps so who knows. Where around here do you go wheeling (legally or illegally)?
My friend knows some trails off Combs Hollow and another place called Split Rock that I haven't seen personally yet...

No, we don't do inspections, we're just a certified repair facility. There's a shop on 46 in Kenvil I know of that does inspections and will probably get you by for like 75 bucks.
My buddy has a Chevy K1500 pickup with a 6" lift and huge 35" swampers, he has no trouble with cops around here. I never have problems with my incredibly loud Mustang either, I wouldn't be too worried.
Those are basically it. Liek I said before I do some wheeling in my backyard. Got 2 arces and some coo trials. I have a dirtbike and its fun but gets boring because no one else rides anymore. So... Jeeping is my new thing!

Alright cool my mech from morristown was supposed to do it but it was at his shop for 2 months and he did jack. Thats why I am doing everything myself now cant relay on other people. But he was busy and was worried about my brakes... arg.
Hey do you do like custom brake lines or something? I need some extended ones pretty cheap for my YJ. Let me know!

Yeah dude, I can do just about any type of custom steel brake lines you want. I can't really do rubber hoses though, but I have in the past made custom extended lines using stock hoses and extra steel line for lifted trucks, so it shouldn't be a problem.
COol I need some steelbraided ones or something. Tell me the times you work then maybe one day you can come over and help me with the t-case uninstall. Have you done a SYE install? Maybe we can crack open the case and do that too. :D Neat good to know there are locals :D

Tell me what SYE stands for and I'll tell you if I've ever done it :P
Why do you want to remove the T-case?
Remove t-case because I have to install SYE.
Sye= Slip Yoke Eliminator
Makes the t-case output shaft shorter there for makig the drivline longer lessening the shaft angle. You will have to do it if you get a large lift. I am doign it because on my excisting 2.5 inch lift I get vibes like crazy. And my new 2.5 lift is going to be little higher and I want to get something strong and I wont have to worry about vibes.

If you need help with the Case I have all the tool. I done so many of theese I can do them in my sleep.
Are you in the area? My zip is 07869. I would love to get my t-case out and in with sye fast but I will have a lift to install in between. Badzook offered me soemthign good and it might work! He can pick the t-case up on Saturday and have it back the next satuday. Gives me tons of time to install lift and get that squared away! :D
