i need so help onhow to do this i have the shackels and im just not sure how to put it in the jeep if you have done it it would be a great help if you could tell me how you did it thanks Rob
Get the weight off the shackles as much as possible, get some PB blaster on the nuts, unbolt it with impact gun if you have one (easier) and bolt on the new ones. Make sure to use the greese they give you, if they do. Also if you dont get new bushings, I would recommend getting new ones while you are in there. Hope this helps. The install is pretty straight forward.

Why are you gonna take the wheels off to install shackles??? Break the bolts loose, install a bottle jack between the frame and the leaf spring and jack it up till the pressure is off the shackle (usually right before it is vertical). Remove it (may need the help of a big f'n hammer). jack it up higher to install the taller shackle and once the bolts are in remove the jack and do the same to the other side. The only problem I've had is when the metal sleeve inside rusts to the bolt and it needs to be cut off and usually then will need new bushings. If you jeep has a lift installed in the last few years you shouldn't have a probem since they were already removed. Its very easy.
