I haven't bought my jeep yet, most likely tomorrow, but I do have a question about the seat/brackets. I'm 6'5" 300lbs and I can fit in the jeep, but another 2 inches of leg room would be perfect. Is it possible to move the seat and brackets back?
Feel free to shoot me an e mail or PM me halter91atyahoodotcom

I've seen some poeple get kits that would raise the seat by about 1-2" and have found a drastic improvement.

What kind of jeep? If it's a TJ I'll go outside and look at my floor and seat brackets to see if there is enough flat floor space to move them back.
EDIT: I just saw your other post so I'll go out and look.

Not sure if this is what will do the job, but you'll be looking for something pretty similar.
Now that i think about it, you might wanna go with rockdawg's idea of moving the seat back. I can image that you would hit your head on your soft/hard top with the seat higher. I've got about 3-4" above my head, but i'm much shorter than you.

Ok, the floor is raised at the front of the seat brackets and flat near the back. I would say you could move the brackets back 4 to 5 inches. Since the brackets will no longer fit tight to contour of the floor for about 4"(just behind the front mounting bolt) I would get creative and fab up a spacer to fill in the area. Here's a crappy pic of what I'm talking about after the seat is moved back a few inches
